Hello, and thanks for stopping by my online resume!

Some would call me a "Jack-of-all-trades; Master-of-few," but I think that's a good thing. I spent 17.5 years in an Active-Duty military career before transitioning to civilian life in Maine. I spent 14 years as an electronics technician in the Army with 10 of those years as a supervisor and foreman for a large-scale maintenance shop. I specialized in radios, communications systems and encryption devices. This gave me a love and passion for encryption and security. For the other three years I worked as a Systems and Network Engineer for NATO in an international environment. That was a great experience, because it focused my interests towards network security, information systems security, and digital forensics. I've deployed three times, which taught me how to work under pressure and how to lead in stressful environments. I worked with the National guard after that, for a total of just over 22 years of service. In civilian life I work as an marine electrician at Bath Iron Works. (General Dynamics)

I have a current DoD Secret security clearance, and at the moment I'm pursuing my BS in Cyber Security (CIS). I'm also studying for my CompTIA Security+ and A+ certifications. I spend my free time on code.org learning how to write code. I'm seeking a cyber security or other related position that can utilize my knowledge and experience while also challenging me in new areas as well. Ultimately my goal is to become the Information Systems Security Manager for an established organization. Feel free to Google me. Don't worry, you'll find lots to dig through. I'm not embarrassed of anything you'll find--I'm a real person, and I'm engaging on all of these platforms socially and professionally. I'm likely one of the few people you'll meet who is comfortably Facebook friends with both his family and his former boss. Click through to read my resume and learn more about me.
